final plan for opening sequence

We have decided on the final plan and layout of our opening sequence and are going up to london to film the main part of our sequence on wednesday.

The sequence will start with a black background and white writing in a typewriter style. It will say the production company, director and main actor. they fade in and out slowly which will be quite simple but effective and it will also fit in with the music in the background. the black background will then fade into the scene of the main character sitting on the vauxhall bridge with traffic and people walking past. this will be a time lapse so the character will look alone and it will show that he has been sitting there for hours. as the scene goes on, the characters names will fade in and out in the same font as the first credits in the corners of the screen. as the scene gets darker, the music changes and more instruments are added. when that scene is over, flashbacks of his life before his accident cut quickly with short 2-3 second cuts. it will then flash and the image will be a medium shot of the main character sitting on the bridge in day-light, holding a cardboard sign with the name of the film written on it.
